. . . The movie "John Tucker Must Die" shows a good sense of the first quotation throughout the movie. It shows that the antagonist, John, is conceited rather than high of self esteem. He takes pride in himself to the next level of thinking he could fool three girls, that he is the hottest thing in school, and most popular. He dosen't care about anybody else's feelings and is so high on himself. This makes people of the school, including the four female characters Kate, Beth, Carrie and Heather, dislike him even more. As it says in the quotation, self esteem is different from conceit, it even makes people sick. Therefore, the four girls plot to take action in getting revenge due to his conceitedness. . .
